I started building websites as a freelancer back in 2014, long before I knew it
would become a career. That curiosity turned into a computer science degree at
Miami University, and from there I moved into cybersecurity, a field I'd been
drawn to for a while. Five years and counting at project44, I've grown from
intern to Security Operations Manager, defending a platform that keeps supply
chains moving.
I've never been great at sitting still with just one thing, so outside of project44
I co-own Mockingbiird, where I work on the technology side building websites and AI workflows
for clients. And because apparently three things is the right number, I'm also
building Kontest. It started as a personal project, born out of my own
frustration with not being able to easily track and analyze my workouts, but it's
grown into something bigger: a competitive fitness app that drives accountability
through social interaction, letting friends challenge each other, compete on
leaderboards, and track both workouts and nutrition right inside the app. What
began as a tool just for me is turning into a community.
